We are a fundraising charity set up in 2015 to help preserve, enhance and champion Barnsley’s heritage for the future.

Amazing experience to see these items

Wonderful - pity not more articles were saved and more of the wonderful old buildings - knocked down to build so called progressive property - a travesty.

Very interesting

A lovely little museum depicting various periods of Barnsley history. A great exhibit on the Slazenger factory ( now closed). My wife was born in Barnsley and immigrated to Canada in 1964 and until we visited the museum, was unaware of this piece of history!!! Well done!

Fabulous Treasures Exhibition

Barnsley Treasures exhibition was fabulous . Well done to all the staff the lighting did justice to the exhibition. Special mention to Steven he was very knowlegable and made it a great experience.
