Adopt a Harvest Mouse– Worsbrough Mill

5th July 2021

Worsbrough Mill and Country Park has been recently recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in recognition of its importance as a wet woodlands habitat.

We are very proud to have helped secure funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to allow the important conservation work at the site to continue. We would love your help to achieve even more.

Worsbrough is a crucial nesting site for the smallest – and possibly the cutest – rodent in the country, the harvest mouse. The harvest mouse population is in decline, but breeding numbers at Worsbrough are steadily increasing.

By adopting a harvest mouse, you will be helping Worsbrough continue the great work already started and in return you will receive an adoption pack full of information and goodies.
